Windows 7 bisa difungsikan menjadi FTP server untuk sharing, berikut caranya:

1. Go to Control Panel ==> choose Programs
2. Choose Turn Windows features on or off
3. Centang Internet Information Services & FTP Server



4. Proses instalasi dimulai…
5. Membuat FTP site: Start ==> Control Panel ==> System and Security ==> Administrative Tools ==> Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

6. Klik kanan Sites ==> Pilih Add FTP Site…

7. Beri FTP site name & directory FTP sesuai keinginan ==> Klik Next

8. Setup sesuai keperluan ==> Klik Next

9. I’m setup just what I need: Authentication to Anonymous & Authorization to Anonymous users ==> Click Next

10. Test browse ke FTP server. Ketik di web browser: ftp://ip_address_pc_win7_ftp_server
